Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

I’m a wife and mom, since the birth of my daughter 10 years ago I’ve been struggling with body image and confidence. I needed to feel beautiful. Also my husband and I are getting ready to celebrate our anniversary and he’s headed out on deployment so I thought this would be a great gift for him!

What was your favorite part of the session?

Honestly the whole thing! From the moment I walked in I felt at ease and comfortable! The hair and makeup by Crystal was a fun pampering experience. Elle helped me pick out the best outfits to make me look hot and feel confident. The photos were so much fun (even if it was hard work). I just really had a fantastic time and can’t pick a favorite part! I guess if I had to though I loved the photo review at the end. Not having to wait to see my photos was the best ending to a perfect day!

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Tell me your story.

Listen I’m a big girl with a serious case of 10 year old mom belly. I felt down about the way I look. I couldn’t understand how my husband could say I look sexy when I don’t feel that way at all. After having so much fun at the shoot and then seeing the results ( the photos) I was in shock. I was like “Okay, I see it, I am sexy!” I can’t wait to share my photos with my husband.

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

Honestly, I’ve done boudoir before, so I thought I knew what to expect: show up get glamorized, put on some sexy outfits, feel uncomfortable, get some decently sexy shots. NOT THE CASE HERE! It was so different! I had so much fun and felt so good about my-self when I left. Also the pictures were FIRE 🔥.
