Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Elle compare to your prior experience?

I have only done one other boudoir shoot and that was 10 years ago out of the photographer's living room. It was super relaxed and a nice experience. However, my shoot with Elle was magical. It was so neat, organized, and professional in the most relaxed and natural ways possible.

Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

It’s been 10 years, three pregnancies, two major divorces/break-ups, and one much needed change of mindset since my last boudoir shoot. I needed to do something to get me out of my funk and to reignite my inner flame. I kept looking back at my old shoot and remembering how much I enjoyed modeling and how empowering that session was. I got tired of telling myself "some day I will do another one." I needed to finally book this and I am soooo glad I did!!

What was your favorite part of the session?

My favorite parts of the session was seeing myself in the mirror for the first time after finishing up with hair & makeup and then the great slideshow reveal at the end! Seeing myself through the lenses of the camera was a huge eye opener to how beautiful I truly am.

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Tell me your story.

After my last pregnancy and most recent separation, I was seriously struggling in the self-love/confidence/worth department. I KNEW I was pretty I just had a hard time accepting it and FEELING pretty. Seeing myself looking the way I did on Elle's large screen TV....oooof let me tell you, there is NOOOO escaping or denying your self worth when it is starring you in the face on a large TV lol most loving and needed slap to the face/ wake up call ever!
