Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

Initially, I did a boudoir photo shoot for an anniversary present for my husband. But, I also wanted to build my confidence up and feel a little sexy!

What was your favorite part of the session?

The whole thing was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had! From hair and makeup to the overall feel in the studio.

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Tell me your story.

I’m not a very confident person by nature, I’ve been told different things my whole life like most women.  Sometimes people tell me how beautiful I am and other times their words hurt by telling me I shouldn’t be eating that. So needless to say, this photo shoot really made me see the beautiful and empowered woman I’ve become despite the people in past telling me differently.

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

It was not at all what I was expecting. I was nervous to be half naked in front of someone that I had met once before, it was definitely out of my comfort zone. Thankfully, Elle makes you feel so comfortable and beautiful that you don’t even care!
