Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

So so so many reasons, but to put it simply the biggest reason was for me. Because I deserve to treat myself to an incredible experience and feel sexy and beautiful.

What was your favorite part about the session?

My favorite part of the session was during the actual photoshoot and how comfortable Elle can make you feel, even partially naked!

What did doing this shoot do for your self-confidence, self-worth, and self-image? Tell me your story.

No matter where you come from, what you’ve been through or who you’ve been with they can’t defy who you are. I’ve lived in that dark space before, bullied, abused, abandoned, broken, never did I believe I would ever rise. Until I met who I believe is my true soul mate Tj. Tj day by day picked up my broken pieces and had me feel genuinely beautiful. How could I be at my heaviest, feeling so negative about myself, be beautiful to this man. I finally gained enough confidence to apply for Elle’s Facebook ad, filled with so much doubt and anxiety I walked into the session New Year’s Eve not knowing I would come out with the most life changing news year’s resolution. Elle I will be forever blessed and grateful for the experience you gave me that day. It’s so much more then pictures it’s a therapy. A therapy that to some of us like me save lives. I grew up in the cruelty real society of body shaming, hate, and negativity and somehow Elle managed to capture me in a completely different perspective. Whether you’re a size 00 or a beautiful curvy Queen self-love is so important. I know we will never be able to please everyone, i learned a lesson that day, that I live this life for me and my family for no one else. Wear the shorts, where the shirt, be who you are. I’ll never let society destroy the woman I’ve found from this experience. I am beautiful, I am worthy, I am deserving. Thank you, Elle Marie.
